My work is a combination of printmaking techniques and I work to combine and complement each unique technique to create a larger whole. I work to see from different perspectives and strive to bring each piece into a different light.
Much of my work is made from recycled items and found objects. I work to share my knowledge with others and help create an understanding of the importance of expressing ourselves with what we have.
I am an artist looking to reflect my own path through the language of Art. My work is an exploration of texture created and influenced by the plate and the paper. I work to express the significance of symbolism through my own lens and reflect my journey on the path of Healing.
On working with symbols, the hand and the heart are very important to me and repeatedly find themselves in my work. Though now we often disregard our hands as just another tool of our bodies, the hands once held much more significance. Some believe our hands hold the truths of our future and through the lines of our hands we can unlock the secrets of ourselves. Others have viewed our hands as a tool to constantly remind us of our faith and our faults. No matter the view, our hands are a constant reminder and symbol of our ability to create and destroy. Our hands are an extension of Our Hearts.
